Seasonal Parks Position –
The City of Manawa is seeking a person for a summer position, approx. 30
hours a week. This is a non-benefited position with a starting wage of
$15.00 per hour. Duties will include mowing and park maintenance.

Seasonal/Part Time Employee Job Description
The following job description includes the duties that will be expected of the
Seasonal-Part Time Position.
The following duties include:
1) Mowing lawn at the areas that are maintained by the city, to include
weed eating.
2) Watering the flowers at the triangle, the hanging baskets on S. Bridge
Street and in the front of City Hall.
3) Spraying weed killer along the streets throughout the city.
4) Unlocking/Checking the Park Bathrooms.
5) Conduct basic maintenance on the lawn mowing equipment.
6) Cleaning City Hall every Monday morning.
7) Assist the Public Works Dept. as requested with various projects.
These would be the basic duties with this position with the understanding
that this is not the only work items that would potentially be done. This
position may also include snow removal and may be the first person
contacted to assist before utilizing the Call-In List if they are available.
